Who I am Makes A Difference

A teacher in New York decided to honor each of her seniors in High School by telling them the difference each of them had made. She called each students to the front of the class, one at a time. First, she told each of them how they had made a difference to her and, the class. Then she presented each of them with a blue ribbon, imprinted with gold letters, which reads,  "Who I am Makes A Difference."

Afterward the teacher decided to do a class project, to see what kind of impact recognition would have on a Community. She gave each students three more blue ribbons, and instructed them to go out and spread this acknowledgment ceremony. Then they were to follow up on the results, see who honored whom, and report to the class in about a week.

Supernova

First time when I accidentally heard this song on BBC Radio 1, I said to myself 'hm...not bad! NO! I need to find this! Quick!' which rather means I already fell in love with the it. Since then, the song become my all time favorites song ever. Or remember this? Imagine that was back in 2009, however the song still fresh in my mind till now.

Sang by a British singer Mr. Hudson featuring Kanye West (He's pretty lame but I like him still
which both co-written and co-produced by Kanye West himself. I listened to this song almost every time when I do my work. There's an instant click arises within me LOL listening to their energetic collaboration of this song. Interestingly, there was a scene where Mr. Hudson and Kanye West resembled as scattered lights. If you wanted to know, that's what I'd like to assumed it as 'Supernova.'

[Chorus]
Coz I feel like taking off
Let me be your supernova
Before you make the biggest mistake of your life
Just give me a chance to get it right get it right

Yeah I feel like taking off
Let me be your supernova tonight
Before you make the biggest mistake of your life
Just give me a chance to get it right get it right

.................

NOTE:'Supernova' are extremely luminous (can radiate as much energy as the Sun) and cause
a burst of radiation that often briefly outshines an entire galaxy, before fading from view
over several weeks or months [Wikipedia]. Currently listening to 'Stereo Love' by Edward Maya Feat. Vika Jiguina.

Ten things we waste

1. Knowledge
Wasted by not taking action with it

2. Actions
Wasted by committing them without sincerity.

3. Wealth
Wasted by using on things that will not bring us rewarded (from God).
We waste our money, our status, our authority, on things which have no benefit
in this life or in hereafter.

4. Hearts
Wasted because they are empty from the love of God, and
the feeling of longing to go to Him, and a feeling of peace and contentment.
In it's place, our hearts are filled with something or someone else.

5. Bodies
Wasted because we don't use them in worship
and service of Him.

6. Love
Our emotional love is wasted/misdirected, not towards God,
but towards something or someone else.

7. Time
Wasted, not used properly, to compensate for that which has passed,
by doing what is righteous to make up for past deeds.

8. Intellect
Wasted on things that are not beneficial,
that are detrimental to society and the individual,
not in contemplation or reflection.

9. Service
Wasted in service of someone who will not bring us closer to God,
or benefit in this world.

10. Remembrance
(of the Creator of the universe)
Wasted, because it does not effect us or our hearts.

................

NOTE: A lessons told by Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah who is known as 'the scholar of the heart,' I took this as an open reminder and worthy tips to be shared. Isn't that all reality of life? I whispered quietly to myself.

My Heaven

I look deep into your eyes
I see there what I feel inside...
We share something between us
Neither one of us can hide...

I feel your lips touch mine
I loose all my control
All it took was a look and a kiss
To know you were part of my soul...

I see your hands on my skin
I want and need you to do more...
The passionate look you give me
Tells me heaven is in store

I feel your need against my thigh...
I know you will fulfill every wish
We were made to fit together
All it took was a look and a kiss...

I look deep into your eyes
And I see heaven there inside...
You make me feel so beautiful
What I feel for you I cannot hide...

........................

NOTE: A poem by K. Roberts, this poem was written for man that has shown her how to receive and share, not just give. And I quote her, 'Someone should be this close to heaven just once.'

80's Day Out!

When was the last time have I ever watched these films? I wondered. And how about you? I still remember those films, made in the 80's yet still amused me until now. They brings back the memories to where I was just a little kid my own. By that reason only, it compels me and I, then have decided to make my own top grossing films over the year of the 80's.

Below are the top 10 list of films picked out through what I considered as the most unforgettable ones. Enjoy!
 ...

The Goonies (1984)

Chunk: Do you think your Mom is going to notice? Notice that the statue's penis is missing.
Mikey: Well, of course she'll notice. She notices everything.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Child's Play (1988)

Andy (beating on Chucky): Come on Chucky. Say something.
Tell me why you killed Aunt Maggie.
Chucky: Hi. I'm Chucky. And I'm your friend until the end. Hidy ho, ha ha ha.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back To The Future (1985)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Karate Kid (1989)

Man who catch fly with chopsticks accomplish anything. Mr. Miyagi

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Look Who's Talking (1989)

I'm sorry that I made you wear that stupid outfit, and I'm sorry that you had to meet that MEAN MAN. You'll never have to see him again. You know what I don't get? Every time I take you somewhere, everyone says how cute you are, and how crazy they are. Mollie

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Blob (1988)

Dr. Meddows: I want that organism alive.
White Suit #1: What about the civilians?
Dr. Meddows: They're expendable.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cocoon (1985)

Jack Bonner: I wouldn't accuse you of dishonesty! I accuse you of being from another planet, but an honest planet!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: All of these films are sorted out by popularity. There are actually plenty of films with different genres that I've watched however to include them all would make this post ridiculously long and crowded. Among those films that I didn't include which I also find magnificent enough are The Neverending Story, Ghostbusters, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Teen Wolf, Honey I Shrunk The Kids, and Alien.

Perfect Woman

One afternoon, a young man and his friend were sitting in a cafe, drinking tea and talking about life and love.
His friend asked: 'How come you never married?'

'Well,' said the young man, 'to tell you the truth, I spent my youth looking for the perfect woman. In Cairo I met a beautiful and intelligent woman, but she was unkind. Then in Baghdad, I met a woman who was a wonderful and generous soul, but we had no common interests.

One woman after another would seem just right, but there would always be something missing. Then, one day, I met her. Beautiful, intelligent, generous and kind. We had very much in common.
In fact, she was perfect!'

'What happened?' his friend said, 'Why didn’t you marry her?'

He sipped his tea reflectively.
'Well,' he replied,
'it’s really the sad story of my life

....

It seemed she was looking for the perfect man…'

And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought. [30:21]

NOTE: I made this entry basically based on one of a friend, who posted it on her notes sections to be shared. I have never actually asked her where she came about to this kind of story but it's uplifting my heart instantly. Though short, it's perfectly written and come with a huge impact. Thanks Am for bringing up such a good impression for the least...of a woman.
